The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), through the Uganda Communications Universal Service Access Fund (UCUSAF), has through a competitive call and evaluation process signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Billbrain Technologies Ltd and Partners to establish a collaboration in the implementation of key activities under a general thematic area of skilling youths in multimedia production to enhance innovation and creativity in local content and create jobs in the creative industries in response to the wide spread youth unemployment. Therefore, UCUSAF III programme set aside resources to be utilized under a collaborative grant framework between UCC/UCUSAF and Billbrain Technologies Ltd and Partners to implement the project.

Training Objective

To enhance innovation and creativity in local content production and create jobs in the creative industries in response to the wide spread youth unemployment.

The training will take place during the months of August and September 2023.

Eligibility / Requirements

The training targets youths that are or intend to be self-employed and self-sustaining using IT tools and skills in multimedia content creation and production

• Ugandans between the age of 18 and 30 .
• A valid National ID
• Own and be able to operate a smart phone or tablet.
• Both males and females are encouraged to apply.
