Centre for Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy (CCCJP)


The Centre for Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy (CCCJP)’s main objective is to promote the use of scientific methods (forensic sciences) to support the administration of criminal justice in Uganda and beyond. This is done through carrying out research and innovations in forensic sciences and capacity building and development. As for the latter, the centre offers short professional courses in forensics and criminology to help bridge the skills and knowledge gap amongst professionals and those interested in matters related to law, justice and technology
CCCJP operates in partnership with Billbrain Institute of Technology (BIT), a leading Institute of learning, research, and innovation-drivenby the desire for excellence and Africa’s transformation through spuring a new trajectory towards adoption of technology to solve legal issues in Uganda and Africa as a whole.

Centre for Climate Change Innovations (CCCI)


Center for Climate Change Innovations (CCCI) is established and seeks to promote and enhance a climate change resilient society through aligned programmes, research, training and capacity development towards sustainable Natural Resource use, and with a mission of being the leading climate change and natural resource valuation entity.

Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development


Billbrain Institute of Technology operates a Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development with the aim of developing and nurturing innovative and entrepreneurial skills in our students so that they are not only employable, but also lead as the next generation of top-notch social, economic, and technological innovators and entrepreneurs
