Guidance & Counselling

In this era, society continues to undergo changes industrially, occupationally, socially, and economically. These changes are creating challenges for students, staff and the entire BIT community. The recent COVID19 Pandemic, A rapidly changing lifestyle; violence in homes, divorced parents; teenage suicide; substance abuse; and sexual exploitation are just a few examples of these challenges. These challenges are real, and have the potential of substantial impact on the personal/social, career, and academic development of students, staff and the entire BIT community.

Our aim is to provide quality and meaningful guidance and counselling services so as to be able to meet the holistic needs of the BIT community.

With our Guidance and Counselling Services, we also aim to help Students and staff grow in self-knowledge and Self-esteem by helping them in :-

  • Educational Guidance and Counselling
  • Vocational Guidance and counselling
  • Personal – social Guidance and Counselling
  • Voluntary Counselling and Testing services; open to Students and Staff
  • Mindset and attitude change training; to students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Welfare and outreach activities.
