1.1 Introduction
The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management (PGD BAM) is aimed at fast-tracking high-potential young graduates, into the world of business. By combining a broad understanding of business concepts, practical applications and immediate transfer of learning to the work environment, PGD-BAM students are at an advantage.
Through a combination of classroom lectures, case studies, business simulations, business field trips and syndicate projects, students will gain immediate insight into business.
The programme will also give students the opportunity to develop interpersonal and problem-solving skills, to manage risks and uncertainty, and gain analytical and financial expertise. The curriculum enables students to master the fundamentals of management Principles, latest theories and best practices in business. Students are prepared to face a challenging market by gaining knowledge of accounts and finance, strategic planning and management, learning about HR functions and business operations in the current market trends and compete in today’s competitive world.

The world is continuously producing human resource but with no relevant requirements to meet the expectations of the market. The PGD-Business Administration and Management programme comes in handy to benefit those officers who aspire to become Middle and Higher Level Managers of public, private and NGO sectors as well as civil society organisations. The Programme is aimed at providing participants with perceptions, knowledge, skills, attitudes and abilities to enable them assume higher levels of management responsibilities. Graduates of the programme will integrate real-life work experience with conceptual and analytical foundations as well as new developments in management disciplines.

2.0 Entry requirements.
Admission into the post graduate programmes requires a candidate to possess/must have a good University degree or its equivalent from recognized institution or university
2.1 Programme duration.
The Post graduate diploma programme shall cover a period of one year.
