The Billbrain Institute of Technology (BIT) reached an exciting milestone today, Friday, March 28, 2025, as it proudly celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of students from the classes of 2021 and 2022. The event took place in Kakiri, in collaboration with Multitech Business School to which it is affiliated. The graduation ceremony, marked with immense joy and pride, was a momentous occasion for both the students and the institution.

The event was graced by the distinguished guest of honor, Prof. John Ddumba Ssentamu, former Vice Chancellor of Makerere University, who shared profound insights into the transformative power of education. In his address, Prof. Ddumba emphasized how education serves as a tool that exposes individuals to diverse ways of life, encouraging them to elevate their standard of living. He remarked, “Education raises people’s productivity and creativity, promotes entrepreneurship, and fosters technological advances. It also encourages innovation, which leads to the development of society.”

In his speech, the guest of honor also underscored the critical role that education plays in driving personal and societal growth. “Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about building a foundation for future generations to thrive, create, and innovate,” he added. The speech left a lasting impression on the graduates, their families, and the faculty, as it highlighted the responsibility of each graduate to contribute positively to society.
The Institute Director, Dr. James Isagara Kisoro, also shared a heartfelt message, Reflecting on the journey of the first cohort, the Director expressed deep pride in the accomplishments of the graduates. “Today marks a significant achievement for Billbrain Institute of Technology. Our graduates have not only completed their academic journey but have also equipped themselves with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective fields. This is just the beginning of their remarkable journey toward success,” said Dr. James Isagara Kisoro.

Dr. Kisoro went on to acknowledge the resilience and determination of the students, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the global pandemic. “The path to today’s success was not an easy one, but these graduates have shown exceptional dedication and perseverance. I am confident that they will be the leaders of tomorrow—pioneering innovation and shaping the future of our society.”
