Course Overview
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) course equips learners with the skills and tools needed to track performance, assess impact, and improve outcomes in projects, programs, and policies. The course explores logical frameworks, data collection, indicators, and reporting methods used by NGOs, government, and development agencies.
Across three levels, participants gain hands-on experience with real-world M&E tools, systems, and practices necessary for results-based management and evidence-driven decision-making.
Beginner Level

The project cycle and M&E role within it
Understanding inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impact
Basic indicators and data sources
Introduction to Logical Frameworks (LogFrames)
Basics of M&E planning and reporting

Intermediate Level

Qualitative vs. quantitative data techniques
Using Excel, KoboToolbox, or Google Forms for data entry
Sampling methods and ethics in data collection
